Rather look for ways to improve your plays. Think if and when you want to activate their Explosive trap (a well timed activation can allow you to Mutanus their Tavish, since you can complete their quest on your turn if it’s final step).Īnd uhm… if you’re bad at the game, don’t immediately assume a deck is actually OP. When playing against them, prioritize face damage, armor when possible (break point is some 20 armor, as that’s an amount that will delay them by a few turns), avoid playing 2 HP minions. The only additional card to look for is DrekThar due to the sheer strength that the card offers at 4 Mana. Don’t expect it to eat Tavish, but at the very least it should delay them for 1 turn, which might be crucial for you to bridge into your Hero card, or Mordresh. With Questline Hunter, you should keep your Questline along with any cheap damage spells to complete it. Okami might be an easier option, because by the time they are about to complete their quest, they are running low on cards (planning to refill a bit later), which makes it very awkward for them to deal with Okami. 1 Arcane Shot x 2 1 Barbed Nets x 2 1 Candleshot x 1 1 Defend the Dwarven District x 1 1 Tracking x 2 1 Wound Prey x 2 2 Explosive Trap x 1 2 Furious. A good Hunter will play around Mutanus, but I’ve eaten their Tavish a few times already, so it’s definitely possible.
To add a bit to this, there’s 2 more things you can do to improve this matchup: Mutanus the Devourer, and Blademaster Okami. Which means many of them will lose the game for you, as long as you play correctly.
You also need to remember, in gold you’re playing against potatoes. Just a very solid deck that has game against most of the field. I’d say those might even be favored.Īs for QH’s power level- not even close to being OP.
Wild Fire Mage, both big spell and Multicaster versions do fine against it. Mask of C’thun and armor gains are your best ways to interact with their game plan. This process repeats until it reaches the final step, which rewards an uncollectible elite. Right after the player completes a condition, the Questline immediately puts the next step into play. Similar to Quest, it grants a conditional reward, but it requires three conditions (steps, or tiers) instead of one. If you’re playing Mage, you should actually have an even or favored matchup against Quest Hunters. Questline is a hero zone spell ability introduced in United in Stormwind expansion.
